A Viking Husqvarna 5540 Sewing machine that has been Fully Serviced and sews a Fantastic stitch. Made in Sweden. The machine is in fantastic condition and can sew the following stitches:- Straight stitch, zig zag stitch, Blind hem, 3 step zig zag, Triple stretch straight stitch, Overlock, Stretch blind stitch and Buttonhole there is a very small tight spot (As we call it)There is a slight split in the gear which should not get any worse than it is and this does not affect the machine at all and as you can see in the photographs this has not affected the stitching in anyway at all and it seems a shame to discard the machine because of this one part as the machine is in full working order and can sew the stitches that I have mentioned above. It is also a freearm machine which is ideal for sewing collars and cuffs and all those awkward garments that are difficult to get to, It has a built in light which is ideal for sewing collars and cuffs and all those awkward garments that need sewing and does not come with the Extention table and has the viking foot pedal and has a Hard plastic Carrycase that slots over the top of the machine. There is not an instruction book with this I am afraid but if you are an experienced sewer then you could work this perfectly.Please view the photographs to see how well kept this machine really is.
